When I open a PDF I get the Adobe Reader error “Adobe Reader could not open ‘abc.pdf’ because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged.”

I do not believe that the file itself is the problem because if I try and open the same pdf file through php code directly in a PHP page it works fine. I can also open the PDF file directly through Adobe Reader.

Please advise with a solution to this problem. I would love to be able to use this plugin.

I tested this further and get the same problem when trying to download other file types. I tried using both jpg and png files, and get an error from Windows Photo Viewer saying it does not support the file format.

I know the desired files are found and even downloaded, but somehow they cannot be viewed after accessing them via this plugin.

    Can anyone offer a suggestion?

I’m having the exact same issue. It corrupts every file that is run through it, but they download perfectly fine when gone to directly. I’ve found several other people asking about this as well, but the author refuses to answer with anything other than “you haven’t set it up correctly.”

This is sad because this seems to be the only plugin of its kind. Suppose I’ll start writing my own and get it up here ASAP.
