  • Hi there,

This is an enhancement that one of my users did before the ‘Recipient Email’ option on the settings screen was added. Before this all email used to get sent to the WordPress administrator email address.

It is not possible to override the recipient via a shortcode parameter.

If this is something that is needed then I could add it to a future update.

    Thanks, Meg

If you were able to add this feature, I personally would find it very useful. As it is now, I am unable to use this plug-in without this option. I have created individual contact pages for each member of a team, and I need each form to email them directly. However, I am one person, so I understand that adding this functionality in just for me is probably not justified. I believe it would benefit others, but that is unfounded. Thanks for the quick response, and if you do decide to add in that functionality I would be happy to use your form in the future. Thanks Meg!

    Thanks for your vote.

    Meg-

This is truly an elegant plug-in. As a developer myself, I find it’s much harder to develop code that is “clean and simple” rather than messy, unbalanced code that is just plain unintuitive. I commend you!

I want to join the chorus and echo the need for multiple recipients. Even if there is a content-expert recipient and a webmaster, that’s more than one. The suggested method of overriding with a shortcode parameter would be perfect for my needs, would be flexible for all, and I would think would minimize the user interface work on your part.

    I’ll be watching and hoping!

    Best, Dale
