  • You can adjust your wp theme to your website lay-out. WP panel -> presentation -> edit theme

ok. i understand that part, but when i uploaded my html/css file (layout)to my themes it didn’t work.

under themes it says theme is uploaded but not complete. stylesheet is missing. so what am i doing wrong. because i know the stylesheet isn’t wrong because it’s up on my website right now. how do i make it compatible with wordpress. do i have to add stuff to the stylesheet or upload it in a certain form?

And maybe while you are at it, read this:

That second link, thats called D O C U M E N T A T I O N. It tries to tell you things you need to know to use WordPress. It wants to help, trust me.

In a nutshell, you have to customize your theme to make it work with WordPress, and you can’t stick it into the WordPress themes directory, because WordPress can’t automagically conform to your style.
