How best to setup a re-direct if taking one site to its own domain?

I’m separating my multi-site installation into separate sites.

How do I best re-direct from the old multi-site install to the new domains?

If I had https://mydomain.com/first-site, and now I have https://first-site.com – how do I go about it?
