Some help with styles and catalog display
-
Hello everyone, I am pretty new to the world of WordPress and its plugins, but I like it a lot and trying to do the best I can. I am software developer but worked with different systems and really don’t know much of PHP but I guess I can understand it.
I have some problem with Woocommerce version 2.0.18.
I use a template (WP-Creativix) that doesn’t declare compatibility with WC.
I’ll try to be short:
1) I want to setup the front page of the shop (I created a page and named it “shop”) to display the main categories of my products. I use the shortcode [product_categories number=”X” parent= “Y”] but WC displays categories -and- products for each category below. I don’t want it to look like this, any tips?2)The site is a mix between blog and static site, in certain pages I do not display sidebar, it’s displayed on the blog page only. I create the shop page and chose the “no sidebar” template, but the sidebar is always there.
3)Variations: I created variations and attach them to my products (of course they’re not simple products so I chose the correct type) and when I load the single product page the dropdown box is there, but variations are not loaded.
If someone wants to see the shop page (it’s in development stage so it’s far from be nice) here’s the link:

Thanks in advance and please be patient if I did something wrong.
