• We have 11,000 images on our site Colorado Mountain News site. When we started the site 5 years ago we did not take advantage of Alt Tags..

I would like a plugin that will automatically fill in the alt tags for all images based on the title of the image. I have seen a plugin the will work for by adding alt tags based on the page title but each image we have is specific and in many cases not the same as the page title.

Does anyone know of such a plugin?

Anyone have any ideas on if this is possible or not? Basically make the alt tags the same as the image title?

What is the “image title”? <img> elements don’t have “title” attributes.

Sorry I don’t understand what you’re referring to as the Title.

    Andrew,

When you upload a photo to WordPress it there are 4 fields you can fill out. Title is the top field by default I believe each image must have a title.
