Countdown Widget (trigger?)

    Hi Mark,

    I am loving your plugins and using them on our club site for saskatoonarsenal.com. Still building away. I am wondering if it would be possible to have the countdown trigger an event when it reaches game time. Whether that be send an email or send off fireworks. I am looking to use it in conjunction with an attendance widget so that after the game starts or couple hours after the attendance for that team will reset. If you could even just point out where I could look to see the countdown in action that would be helpful

    Hey John,
    Nice to hear from you again. Your site has really come along since I saw it last!

    Yes, I can see where an action like that would be helpful but … I can’t get at the operating system’s cron process, and my limited experience with the WP cron process tells me that there are some challenges with it. I will spare you the technical details, doesn’t really matter, but I’m not ready to take this on because I can’t see a reliable solution.
