I am very new to blogging. And I’m old, so please bear with me. I’m not sure what the term is I am looking for, so I couldn’t search on it effectively.

My blog is blog.magic-city-news.com and if you go there, you can see that the two entries I have made both show in their entirety on the front page.

I would like them to do like normal blogs and just have the beginning on the front page and then a “more” kind of link that takes you to the full entry.

    Questions:

    1. What is that called?
    2. How on earth do I accomplish it?
    Thanks in advance.

    Michelle

  • While on the Write Post screen, look carefully at the toolbar buttons immediately above the editor. One of them is the “more” button. When you click it, the editor inserts <!--More--> into your post and that’s what does the “read more” stuff that you’re looking for.
