1.2-alpha comments and other problem

  • Hi
    I installed the 31st March nightly and I think I ran the scripts correctly. At least, my blog is working so …
    But, I had a problem before installing it and it’s still there, even when I set comment moderation off, all comments are still moderated and I don’t know how to fix it.
    Also, generally when I write a new post or edit a post and click on the publish I get the page for a new post. Now I don’t get it, I just get a blank page.
    I think everything else is working correctly but not totally sure.
    I was wondering if anybody knew how I could resolve them?

  • I get the “always on” comment registration. At first I thought it was a “feature” but now I see it’s an option not sticking. I don’t think I’ve checked email more in my life than in the last few days… ??
    Running the 28th nightly here btw.

    it’s so frustrating! if i’m at home i download my mail and it’s all cool…
    at work, do i check all my various accounts? nooooooo….
    coupled with i don’t expect to get any comments but you wander home and then..ooo..somebody commented sometime this morning and it’s like…oh…joy…*sigh* ??
    and for some reason there’s no notice saying comment moderation is on even…and i’m kinda scared to edit the page ??

    Heh heh, yah the lack of indication confused me too. Same thing happened at photomatt’s page. The only reason why I knew I had commented and did not imagine the previous 30 seconds was that his comment form remembered my details. :\

    I think my blank page problem just this second *magically* disappeared. I went to edit a post, and then LO! I got it back…
    I did nothing…really…
    I keep waiting for the comment moderation problem to magically disappear too!

    hmm… I hope that happens with me too. I’m not having the comment problem though.

    tho i think it works on IE

    okay
    mine is being sometime-ish
    meaning it works only when it wants to ??

    mine doesn’t work at all.
