Padding/Spacing beneath Slideshow

Hey y’all – I’m looking for a way to increase the spacing beneath the entire slideshow element, but cannot figure it out. Halp! Here is the under-construction site: https://www.portageparkdistrict.org/wordpress

I have placed the slideshow in my home.php file, just above some php that calls for the blog entries. I’d like to increase space between these two elements.
