YARRP has stopped working in 3.7 WP

  • Hi,

    I have been using YARRP for many years and no problems. But now after upgrading to WP 3.7, I get no related posts showing in the editor screen (which normally shows posts related).

    Therefore, nothing appears on the actual live post either. Strangely, I have older posts showing related posts in the editor screen but when I update an old posts it removes them leaving me with no related posts. I lose them all.

    Please tell me what is going on!!! I need to fix this asap.

    I’ve flush the cache and re-built it.

    Now all my posts are not showing any related posts.

    The related posts widget in the editor screen shows ‘No related posts’

    Not good … ??

    Did you deactivate YARPP before upgrading to WP 3.7? Please see the tips in the FAQ, under the subhead, “YARPP seems to be broken since I upgraded to WordPress X.X.”

    Hi Jeff,

    I did what is stated in the FAQ. Also, flushed the cache. And nope it still gave ‘no related posts’

    Then manually re-built the cache. Still giving ‘no related posts’ Please can you tell me what else I can do or try to fix this?

    First, I always loved this plug-in. I simply cannot get it to work with Frumph’s Comic Easel plugin.

    This may be because in the plug-in, the developer has created a custom type called “Comic” a la “Post”, “Page”.

    Can you confirm or deny my theory? I hate to give up on YARPP but may have no choice.
