Blog I am having an issue with: blogs.ams.org/visualinsight

Visual Insight is part of a multisite installation. For all of the blogs, we use “Simple Comments.” There is no problem with the commenting on any blog but visual Insight, which uses the Expound theme. I have not been able to confirm that it is the theme causing the issue. Users (when not logged in) get this error when attempting to submit a comment:
“Simple Comments could not retrieve the password from the server. It may be necessary to do one, or all, of the following. Turn off Nonce Security, or turn on Generate Comment Form, or the visitor should turn on JavaScript in their web browser.”

I have tried following these recommendations, and nothing has changed. Any ideas about Simple Comments issues and/or Expound theme will be much appreciated.

Hey there! Have you tried using a different theme on that particular blog? Can you still reproduce the issue?

Hi Konstantin. I am very fond of your theme! So I’m happy to say I resolved the issue. I deactivated another plugin, NextGen Gallery, and now the comments field is working with Simple Comments plugin enabled. Thanks!
