• I have created separate pages for my homepage and posts page. I’m having trouble setting up my homepage. I have downloaded a header image which shows up with no problem. However my site title and tagline only show on the white area which showed when I initially downloaded the theme.

So what I have is a homepage divided into 3 parts with a custom header image on top, a white area with my site title and tagline below and the homepage widget area below that! Please tell how to get rid of this horrible alignment.

Also how come my site title and tagline disappears on pages other than home?

  • Hi michaelo9,

I’m an artist like you and I like your art. ??
Anyways, I found out that your header image is too big for the space and it is not centered,is it intentional? Second, do you want your site title and tagline will be inside the header image? if so, then it needs some graphic editing on it.

Let me know what you think so I can help you.

    Michaelo9,

Yajyolid is correct. If you want your title and/or tagline on every page, then it should probably be part of your header image.

The theme’s “custom” front page settings does offer the right half of the ugly white box as a container for an image. But, if you want any flexibility with the boring layout, you’ll need to first disable the theme’s home page override, “Appearance” > “Theme Options” > “Home Page” > “Enable Custom Front Page”. Then, change “Setting” > “Reading” > “Front page displays” to a static page of your choice.
