  • If you are using WordPress v2.8 or higher, you can use the short-code:
    [mailchimpsf_form]

    It is!

The plugin supports the use of shortcodes, so you can insert these into an area of your site where you want to place your signup form. The shortcodes can be referenced in the Installation area under “Advanced” here:

    Hello,
I’ve just installed MailChimp and created a quick list for testing. I’ve added the [mailchimpsf_form] into my WP page and it appears just fine. However, when I enter my test name/email I get an error
    200:Invalid MailChimp List ID:d0b96314d4.

This value doesn’t match what’s in my List ID, however, I don’t see a place in my WP setup to enter any id.

I’m assuming I’m doing something wrong, just not sure what that is.

    Hey there,

You won’t have to explicitly set a list id in the plugin settings. Instead, you should see a dropdown menu which contains the active lists on your MailChimp account, to which you can choose from by name. With the error message you’re seeing, it looks like the plugin’s connected to a list that’s no longer active on the account (i.e. it’s been deleted).

In testing the form on the url provided, I’m able to enter an email address and sign up as expected, so it’s possible that you may have already resolved this issue. Let me know if you’re still seeing the issue on your end.
