html view on mac ?

  • hi,

    i use 2 machines but wordpress behaves differently on both machines.

    on the pc at my work there is an “html view” available, which is the mode i prefer to work in to edit my posts/entries. but my mac at home does not have this option. is there a special setting of plugin i need to make the “html view” format work on my mac?

  • in the main writing options (I believe) is something to disable the rich text editor by default. just turn it off for all machines/users, rather than changing mode every time you go to post.

    i tried that. the field says:

    “Users should use the visual rich editor by default”

    I unchecked that option, updated the options and it’s still not showing an html editing version (for posts/entries) on my mac ??

    anyone know how to fix this?

    Uncheck Users:Your Profile “Use the visual editor when writing”?
