Blog set up problems

  • Hi ….. I’m running paid for Blackbird Theme….. I’ve recently added a Blog page to my site https://www.robfellowsreiki.com
    I created a page in the menu /blog and have written a couple of posts.
    I have also created a Blog sidebar in the widget area which includes an email capture form and a plug-in showing my last 5 posts. All sounds good so far.
    BUT …. when clicking on the page tab for Blog the page only shows a part of each Blog post when I want to show the whole post ( they are only short!) and it doesn’t include my specially created sidebar , instead it shows the standard WordPress Blog side bar.
    I had a recent problem where my Home page became the post page … which my Theme forum( Blackbird, Ink Themes) has solved this morning by advising me to check ‘Your latest posts’ for Front Page Displays within Reading Settings. This has returned my Home page but not solved my blog page problems.
    Can anyone help to sort this for me please?
