Editing the Footer Widget area in TwentyTen

  • Hi,

    I’ve created a site using the WordPress twentyten theme (camptopeinu.com). I would like to add text or an image directly above the footer widget area (where I have my countdowns). Where/how do I add to that area?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • either in footer.php before or after this line <div id="colophon"> or in sidebar-footer.php before all other codes (in your child theme).

    thanks as always. If I wanted to put an image in there, would I reference the image from the footer.php file?

    footer.php is a possibility;
    the exact code depends on where the image is saved in your site.
