I have a site: https://www.drdavidshanley.com that keeps being redirected to a mobile version of the site that I did not set up. I deleted my theme and deactivated my plugins and it is still doing this. I am going to reinstall my theme, but want to make sure that there is no other settings that I need to change.

Also, when I had Jetpack activated, I made sure to deactivate the mobile theme setting.

GoDaddy hosts this site and they said that it has to be on the WordPress end and not on the hosting end.

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

  • “mobile.” is generally from JetPack. But I’ve seen some other threads where people on GoDaddy could not get rid of that – and it turned out to be a GoDaddy setting as well.

Should I just call GoDaddy back and hope that someone on their end has experience with it? Sometimes its about getting the right person… ??

Just looked at your site on my iPhone and it looks like you got this fixed?

Yes! I went on GoDaddy’s user panel for the webhosting and switched off the Mobile Enabled setting. All is good now. Thanks for the help.
