description and content:encoded

  • In my rss there is <description> and <content:encoded>, i have a <img> in the description and some HTML in the content:encoded, why when i read the feed i can’t see the image in the <description> but only the content:encoded elements ?

    Can i remove <description> from my feed and use only content:encoded ?
