When uploading an image, no resize options?

  • My blog used to be on a different server. When there, I f I would upload an image, there was a drop down list option to resize it.

    Now I am on a new server, and the only option is full-size.

    Any suggestions?

  • Check your image sizes in Settings -> Media.

    There are options, there, but it still only gives me the option of full size when I upload. Is it a folder permission issue?

    How large are the images that you are uploading and what are the image dimensions set up in Settings -> Media?

    One for example is 1600 X 847, while the settings I have is large size max is 825 X 1200.

    ON the old server, there was a drop down with 4 options, here it only says full size.

    The dropdown is only available when you insert an image into a Post or Page – not when you upload the image.

    Sorry, I meant when I am posting it to a page, it does not give me option anymore
