Confirmation E-mail

    I’m using WP e-C 3.8.12.1 and PayPal Payments Standard 2.0. I have a Buy It Now button and I want to customize the confirmation e-mail to inform the buyer to bring the e-mail to the event.

    I cannot find anywhere in this version to configure confirmation of purchase messages, or a confirmation/thank you email text.

    Where can I configure the messages and e-mails for failed or successful payment, and for redirect to a successful completion or thank you page?

  • I am having a similar issue.

    In the order email I want to show Product’s thumb image and Title with hyperlink (upon clicking which it can directed to product page) and SKU also.

    Look forward to hearing how to be able to customise, am also using PayPal.

    @dormaj – there are plenty of plugins that extend the way WP e-Commerce Plugin handles emails that are being sent. If the functionality you require isnt in the Plugin itself you might need to consider using a consultant to make you an Add On plugin for WPEC that adds this functionality to your install.

    There are consultants listed on our site but I’d recommend that whitelamp.com guys at the moment.

    @dubzz – again this functionality isnt included in WPEC by default so if you can’t find a Plugin to add this functionality you might need a consultant to help.

    Sounds like the market needs a plugin for adding full on email configuration. Hopefully this is something the whitelamp.com guys consider making for you should you reach out.

    If this Plugin existed I’d gladly add it to our marketplace.
