Right sidebar on Blog page does not show correctly

  • I am using Customizr. I have several static pages and one post page. I am using custom right sidebars for each page and it works great except for the Post page which is called Blog.
    I have created a custom sidebar called Blog and applied it to the Blog page. When I view the Blog page it just shows the default right sidebar. When I go to an actual post, it displays the Blog sidebar. How can I get the Blog sidebar to appear on the Blog page?

    Thank you. I really do like your theme. This is my first WordPress site and I tried several before I found yours. I see you live in France. I lived there a long time ago in 1975-1976 in Aix-en-Provence. I was able to go back 3 years ago and visit friends there.

    Yes I used a plug-in called Custom sidebars.

    Hi,

    I just tried to use your plugin and it worked on the blog page.
    All you have to do is defined your custom sidebar as the default sidebar in place of the right sidebar for the blog page.

    To do that :
    1) go to Custom sidebars, select the right sidebar to be replaceable in the list.
    2) Then click on the default sidebar tab of this screen and apply your custom sidebar to the main blog page.

    That should do the trick

    I’m still having this problem as well. I’m not using a plugin, I just have all the default layouts set to Right Sidebar and all pages are set to Full Width EXCEPT for the Blog page. The sidebar shows up on my blog page but it is blank – the 3 widgets I have assigned to that sidebar do not appear.
