    Hi,

I’m new with wordpress and expound. I would like to add 2 flags on the expound theme to change the languages. I don’t need any translation, just 2 flags and create the same web with different languages. I found a plugin called 012-ps-multi-languages that does what I want.

After trying to figure it out how to install it, I understood that I can’t install any plugin in wordpress.com. My question,

Is there any way to install flags in expound or wordpress.com? Any widget that I can’t see??

I think it’s just weird if you don’t have the chance to do it, so I guess it’s because I don’t have idea about it.

    Thanks.

  • Hello!

I think for this you would have to modify some php and css files in the theme to add the flags. It is a really easy thing to do, but unfortunately on WordPress.com you do not have the option to make direct edits to your page.

Could I ask, how would you like to create the content of the different languages? You have separate installations for every language, or you want every content inside one WordPress site?

    Greetings,
    Balint

If your site is on WordPress.COM, you need to ask on their forums –

These forums are only for self-hosted sites.

    Hi,

Thanks for your replay. My idea was to create every content inside one wordpress site…finally I decided to use www.ads-software.com and I could install the plugin and I solved it.

    Thanks anyway.

    Cheers,
    Afogu.
