    Hi,

There is something wrong with the theme translation.
I tried to translate it into Polish. I created a .po file and .mo. They are both in the theme languages folder but the theme doesn’t see them.

I created the files using codestyling localization plugin.

Can you please check if the theme is translation ready?
If so, why the translation is not working?

    Hi,
can you please look into it?

    Is your theme translation ready?

The translation doesn’t work – how to make it work?

I’m still waiting for your reply.

I have no clue why the theme doesn’t see the translated .po and .mo files.

    Can you help me?

    Hello,

I believe I’ve found the problem, looks to be a bug with the theme itself. I’ll do further testing, generate a new version, and let you know when it’s available (should be in the next 24hrs). Thanks for your patience!

    Hi,

This has been corrected now – you can download the fixed version on the Able showcase page on WordPress.com. The download link is at the bottom right.

Thanks for your patience, let us know if you have any further problems.

    Hi Kirk,

    thanks!

In the meantime I asked one technician and he spotted the bug – in functions.php – wrong name of the languages folder. We changed that and the translations works.

    Cheers

Glad you found another workaround! Indeed the “languages” folder was actually mis-named “language” in this theme. That’s been fixed in the new download, and the functions reference stays the same.
