Parent theme, act like child.

    I am REALLY new to creating WordPress Themes.

    So I got this theme I am trying to create, but it keeps telling me that the “template” is missing.

    I have tried putting in a template line in my CSS,

    /*
    Theme Name: Gl Holtegaard theme
    Theme URI: https://example.com
    Template: glh
    Description: Website CSS for Gl Holtegaard theme
    Version: 0.2
    Author: Andreas Münter
    Author URI: https://www.designduck.dk
    */

    But all it does then when I try to active, is telling me that:
    “The active theme fails. Switching back to the default theme.”

    I don’t know why my template acts like a child theme instead of parent.

    Anybody got any good ideas? ??
