Smart Slider 2 Most Recent Posts

  • I have the Smart Slider 2 plugin installed into my website, but in the settings in the admin panel, it only lets me set custom text and pictures for the slides. Is there any way to set it so that I can have the newest post to be displayed on the slider instead of typing in the text myself. Plugin Here

    That said, Smart Slider 2 is my fave slider! :)Not sure which version you are using, but in the paid one, this is easy to do.

    Yes, it works fine in the pro version.

    In the pro version, the Generators has more than just images from a folder. You are able to select a post category and filter which posts you want available in the slider. The plugin will then generate the number of slides required as per your selection. Then it is just matter of inserting the codes for the various post elements (content, featured image, author, etc.) into the slide(s) where you would like them to be.
