wordpress admin my-sites page- remove sites where user is only a subscriber

In my multisite network,users are “subscribers” to quite a few sites. At the same time they have there own site on the network. Is there any way to not show sites where the user is a “subscriber” in the my sites page and also the admin bar?

At the moment the user can see his own sites, and a bunch of other sites where the user is a subscriber. This often causes confusion to the user.
