    Unfortunately the link you provided doesn’t work. However 99% that the issue is CSS related. Either the theme or some other plugin are styling the border. GMW does not include any CSS.

    Anyhoo…….whilst waiting for a reply I applied a css fix to my child theme

    img{
    border:none;
    }

    and this worked fine.

    Yeah I think it is just an IE thing rather than the theme or another plugin. The images were showing without border on all browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, etc. )except for IE.

    That’s the only viable fix … nothing “better” than that.
