    I am building a site for a client and he wants his blog page to look like this.

    https://unofficialnetworks.com/

    Now I am not sure if WordPress or my theme is capable of that. But is there any way I can come close to creating a format like that? Below is the link to the site I’m working on.

    if anyone can help that would be awesome!!!

    Yes – it’s possible but do not edit the Twenty Twelve theme itself. First create a child theme for your changes.

    Alright, child theme created. Now what Esmi?

    There is no child theme activated on your site.

    It is created and is present in Appearance–Themes. What do I have to select to activate it?

    Click on Activate – it’s like changing to any other new theme.

    HAHA! Silly me it was right in front of my face.

    Ok. Now it is activated. What do I do now to format my blog?

    the individual post output for the posts page and archive pages is done with content.php and the content-{postformat}.php files;
    add a copy of the needed template(s) into your child theme and edit it there.

    most things have been dealt with before, please search the forum for ‘twentytwelve excerpt on front page’, ‘twentytwelve thumbnail with front page excerpts’ or similar.
