hiding categories in wp_list_cats()

  • can this be done? I searched the forums and I cant find it anywhere. I have a “private” category that has all locked posts that I put on my blog for my own reading only and I dont want the category to show up.

  • i don’t know if there is a solution for that, probably some kind of hack or enhancement in the future but in the meantime, you can create a category just for private posts and make sure you put the password in each one and assign each one to that category… the only problem with that is that the title of your entry will still show up.
