Error due to installation of WP in subdirectory

Hi,

If you have installed separate wordpress and video gallery in your sub directory, please make sure that you have entered “Site Address (URL)” as https://www.site/wp in the following path WP Admin -> Settings -> General. If you have entered correctly, then please find the code get_bloginfo('url') in all the files of Contus Video Gallery and replace with get_site_url() and check.

If you are still facing the same issue, please contact our supporting system at apptha.com.

Love the possibilities of this plugin, but have this issue.

I want to use it on my personal site and also have a client who wishes to purchase this for use on his sites.

Please help:

When you say “in all the files…”

can you help me by listing which files need to be fixed?

Or is there any other way to do this?

Sub directory installs are common…i must imagine there is a solution for this?

I addressed the issue several times to the developpers. Their answer: This is a WordPress issue… But as you wrote it’s a common installation (and part of the Codex too).

Thank you so much for listing all of those files!!! I went ahead and found/replaced the above terms for each of those pages and uploaded the files again via FTP.

Everything seems to be working great. Love the plugin and the new element this provides to a website.

The only file that you listed that I did not find in the recently downloaded plugin files was:

Quick question, if we buy a license, can we use on multiple websites or just per website?

For your kind information, as per our company norms our plugin is valid for single domain. If you want to use our plugin in the subdomain or sub directory then you can very well use the same license for the domain which you have. Suppose if you want to use our plugin for the multiple domains then you need to purchase the license for the each domains. Also please note that we have the developer license key, you can use it for multiple domains once you purchase . So far, and just now, I believe I have the plugin working right, except for a couple of redirects for the author and category links to make it work with the subdirectory install (everyhing else redirects well with the site(url) fix you had recommend in another post where you listed the files that needed changing).

I suppose the update will also come via the WordPress admin?

I will download my current plugin files because they are good as is, and will also be glad to test the changes to make sure they work well.
