"Allow user to sign up to this list" never save

  • Subscribers lists are not showing up at front end, as well as “No public lists available” message is on widget and “Allow user to sign up to this list” never save. I check the box in Edit List then Save, but when I am opening the settings it Unchecked again.

    What to do?

    Is it possible to make it “Public” by default?

    We create public lists by default. But if you select a WordPress user role then that list cannot be public. When you create your next list, try selecting “not linked”. It is the first radio button underneath the checkbox for allow users to sign up to this list.

    If you are trying to create a public list from WordPress user roles, it doesn’t work because we synchronize and overwrite any changes made to that list using the WordPress users in the database at that time.
