variation image not changing

Do you have a variation configured for “all sizes” or “all colors” – I believe this will prevent the image transition

We have all sizes selected, and then specific color with image. I tried specifying specific size, but that also does not work.

Same problem here. This is clearly a huge bug.

In my case it was because the theme was using cloud zoom plugin and it’s not compatible with the image variation function.
