Problem when uploading images!?

  • Hey guys!

    Im running a wordpress site and i have a huge and very annoying problem, when i try to upload images to my media library. It freezes at the “crunching” part. The weird shit is, that sometimes when it freezes and i just click back or reload, i can go to my library and find the picture – sometimes i can’t ??

    I know that my server provider has set the php-memory-limit to 32M, the picture I’m trying to upload is 810kb large. The size is: 2048?×?1536. Changing the size to: 1024?×?768 results in a correct upload. However i have the plugin “Imsanity” that should handle and resize large images to a max of 1024x 768. I tried disabling the plugin, but to no avail.

    Can any of you help me out here? What i want is for the user to be able to choose any size, but i want the resize to work upon upload, so regardless of the size of the source, i will always end up with an image of maximum 1024×768

    Oh, and fyi – i tried several different browsers (safari, firefox and chrome) all with the same result ??
