what is my version number?

    I have 6 months experience writing a blog – but I am brand new to WordPress. This is my first post in the forum.

    How do I find out what is my version number? At the bottom of the dashboard, there is a statement:

    2.0.3 – 2.09 seconds

    is the 2.0.3 my version number? and the 2.09 seconds the time it took to process the last thing I did?

    Can I put something on my “about” page (or the header) that displays the version number? A little piece of code that would find and display the version number, so that it is automatically updated if the version changes?
