Featured images or images in Post not showing up on FB

    Been banging my head on a wall and no one can seem to help me. When I share a post on FB, the feature image does not show up- only my header. Everything worked fine for a few months. Then when sharing on FB, no feature image, only header would show up. Then no text or images were showing up. After playing around with it for days, I can now get the header, text, and link to show, but still no feature image. Feature image is set by “choosing a feature image” and added into the post. Bluehost says not a problem on their end.

    FB debugger says”The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.”

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    When you share a post on Facebook, or when Jetpack Publicize publishes a post to your Facebook page, Facebook crawls the page and looks for Open Graph meta tags in the head to build a complete post preview (with an image, title, description, …).

    Jetpack automatically adds these meta tags to your site, unless you already use another plugin to handle Open Graph meta tags.

    I had a look at your site, and you seem to be using 2 different plugins to manage Open Graph Meta tags on your site:

    • WordPress SEO
    • Shareaholic.

    Jetpack consequently doesn’t have any control over the look of your posts on Facebook; these 2 plugins, however, might be conflicting with each other since Facebook doesn’t usually like duplicate Open Graph meta tags on a page.

    I would suggest that you deactivate one of the 2 plugins and see if it helps. If you still experience issues, you can use Facebook’s Debugger to find out more about your issue:

    Thank you! I have tried deactivating plugins one at a time with noe change Also, I used the FB debugger:
