    I have install the subscribe2 plugin and configured as directed.

    I have created a page called subscription and pasted the shortcode over there. Selected the subscription page in the widget.

    I have entered the email address in the form and I got a confirmation email. When I clicked the confirmation link it is again going back to the same subscription page with the subscribe form.

    I have searched about this issue in the previous threads and came to know about exclude page. I have installed the exclude page but do not know how to proceed further.

    I am new to word press. Can you please help to achieve the following goal.

    Once the visitor clicked the confirmation link it should redirect to the thank you page.

    PS: I am using the widget under every post.

    Thanks.

  • @cva03,

    The subscribe2 handles the ‘thank you’ page for you, you don’t need to write your own. I think that’s where the issue is arising from. You just need to write a page with the form, or use the Widget and let the plugin do the rest.

    Thank you for the reply. No i did not create a thank you page. I created only one page called subscription. For the first time that is after entering the email it redirects to the page and says email is on the way. After clicking on the confirmation email it is redirecting to the same page but it displays the subscription page.

    Its the website : messagingpro.in

    Go to any post and at the bottom you can find the subscription form. Let me know how to resolve it. Thanks again for your attention.

    @cva03,

    I see you are using Yoast SEO. There is a known conflict with that plugin:
    https://subscribe2.wordpress.com/support/conflicts/

    WordPress SEO by Yoast can stop user messages in Subscribe2 being displayed when subscriptions are confirmed. This only occurs when opengraph for FaceBook is enabled. The workaround is to ensure that on the Page that handles the Subscribe2 request you must define something in the WordPress SEO by Yoast meta box under the Social tab where is says Facebook description. If this is left empty the Subscribe2 user message is used as the Facebook opengraph page description instead of being displayed for your users.

    Thank you!! It worked like a charm. I really impressed with this plugin and your support.

    Thanks again.

    @cva03,

    Great, I’m glad that still works and that it got your site working.
