Template tag to remove ads from certain pages?

Hi

i’m running a blog using a directory script. This means I have both a series of posts in the directory area, as well as in the blog area.
I want to post ads in my blog articles, but not in the directory.

Is there a code I can add to the template for single items in the directory (which is different from the template for the blog posts), so no ads will be displayed in the directory?

I tried adding <!–NoAds–>, but that won’t work.
I don’t want to have to add this tag to every single directory post I make…

please advice!
