Cannot connect to PayPal error 10002

    Hi there-

    I followed the instructions to set up the API credentials and copy/pasted them into the payment settings. However, once you go to check out, you get this message:

    There was a problem connecting to PayPal to setup your purchase. Please try again.
    10002 – Security error – Security header is not valid

    I’ve verified the API information again, etc. I don’t know what to do. Can anyone help?

    Hi @zanzaboonda,

    I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

    The 10002 error is either that your API details are wrong or you have it in Sandbox mode using live API details. Or in Live mode using Sandbox API details.

    Admin –> Products –> Settings –> Payments

    /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=product&page=marketpress&tab=gateways

    Please double check it to know is there any extra space after your API Username / password /Signature.
