JW Player is playing some but not all videos

  • I am having an issue with JWplayer playing some of my videos but not all. I am using the same process for embedding all of my videos with JWP. That is, I go to Add Media, then choose the clip, and then insert with JWP. It gives me the shortcode and then I hit update and it should be all good. However, this is not the case. I could understand if I didn’t have any videos working, but some… It has me quite curious at this time.

    Does anyone have any ideas on this one?

    Thanks to Ethan for helping…

    I downloaded another FLV that wasn’t working. I then deleted it from the server and then went into Add Media. It still showed up there which is bothersome. So, I downloaded several of the “non working” FLV files and then deleted them from the server via cPanel I then uploaded the files via Add Media Upload option and then they started working. As I suspected, for some reason the Add From Server plugin is corrupting things. Nonetheless, the problem is solved. At least I think. More to come if I try others and it doesn’t work.
