Putting adsense into my template

Hi. I am trying to put adsense into my template I worked it in with adsense delux plugin. I succeeded however it just seems to show up on my index page and not on any other pages. I guess I have overlooked something really basic. Any ideas?
Also can anyone tell me where I might find some adsense ready themes or templates for wordpress? I couldn’t find much.
