unexpected error occurred

  • On my plugins search page, I receive the following error:

    Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.ads-software.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in /home/content/26/9158726/html/wp-admin/includes/plugin-install.php on line 77
    An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

    When I search for plugins from that page, I receive the following error:

    An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

    Try again

    I’m not behind a proxy, so I don’t believe that to be the issue.

    Also, after I install a plugin, I get the following errors:
