    Hi

    I’m using EME with the PayPal plugin extension. My client has received several bookings for their event and taken payment.

    However, when looking at the bookings under Change Registration in EME, all bookings show as not paid.

    My question is, is the plugin meant to automatically update the paid status using IPN, or is it meant to be a manual task for the WP user?

    IPN should work. But it only works for production, not paypal test. Also, look in your logfiles for your webserver for the string “eme_eventAction=paypal_notification” , this is a sign that paypal came back to do the notification. If you don’t see this string, paypal is not doing the ipn and you should then check your paypal account for this.

    Also, in eme_rsvp.php you can activate ipn logging for paypal. Look for log_to_file, log_to_email or log_to_db in eme_rsvp.php and change the appropriate lines.
