Adding a second subdomain and second blog

  • I have a sub-domain on my domain and run a word press blog on this sub-domain. Then I added a second sub-domain on the same domain.

    Can I add a second totally separate work press blog to this second sub-domain?

    I’m using softaculous to install word press. I’m afraid I’m going to overwrite my first blog. softaculous doesn’t ask which sub-domain to add the second blog to.

    Should I specify a new directory and data base name.

    I am from the Softaculous team.

    You can choose the sub-domain from “Choose Domain” dropdown on the WordPress install form in Softaculous. Softaculous will copy the files to the path where your sub-domain is pointing.

    Softaculous will ask you if the files already exists and will not overwrite the files unless you confirm it.
