    When I Try To Update The WordPress From Version 3.7.1 To Version 3.8 Nothing Happens (The Dashboard is Still Showing The Message

    WordPress 3.8 is available! Please update now And The Following Msg Bellow it An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update again now.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins.

    – switching to the default 2013 theme.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – running the upgrade again.

    Everything related to WordPress with the exception of the files & folder I mentioned above.
