I’ve tried quite a few of them, but not all 495, no.

I’d suggest looking/trying the widely used and well-supported ones and asking on their own support forums for specific use questions. Each plugin has a sub-forum where developers or other people who know the plugin well answer questions – for example here:

Scroll down to make a new post on that forum.

BTW, what theme are you using?

Ok, so just to be clear, the only practical way to do this is using a plugin. There is no other practical way to use my current page while developing the rest of the site?
