• Uploads are working, but a file (40k – 400k)out of my docs becomes only a thumbnail when uploaded, even though I select only “send to editor”. What did I do wrong?

  • I am having the same problem with my knitting pictures, it doesnt matter what the upload size is they all appear small.

Hope someone has an answer to this.

when you click on the image, the top option is “using thumbnail” … if you click on that is changes to say “using original” … that has to be selected, then click “send to editor.

Ok I will double check that…I think I tried both but it was late last nite<G>

    Thanks for your reply!

I think it is a little counter intuitive, because you would think to CLICK on the “use original” to get it to use original, but that changes it to “use thumbnail.”

you can also edit the “html” (click on the html icon) and find the image tag <img src="blah.blah.thumbnail.jpg" /> and remove the .thumbnail from before the .jpg.

No go, the orig size is 320×240 and 17.7 kb, in the props for the blog pix are 128×96 and 18190 byts.

Did you check the html ? is it loading the .thumbnail or the regular one without ?

well this is the html text:

    <p align=”center”><img id=”image24″ height=”96″ alt=”Beginings” src=”https://dabsy.net/knits/wp-content/uploads/2006/08/DSCN0011.JPG&#8221; />

I don’t see thumbnail, now I did notice the other pictures have thumbnail in the filename so those were sent to the editor as thumbnails.

did you make sure that the height setting (and width) matches the actual file you uploaded ? Otherwise your browser will shrink it to fit what is definited above (96 pixels). Change that to 240 and add a width of 320 and see if it displays correctly.

ok will try that….but you shouldn’t have to make changes, the program should know ??

Hey that worked thanks for your help<G>

    Have a Happy day!
