Update from 1.9.13 to 2.0.40 messed up image Titles

When I update the plugin it seems to recreate image titles.
If the image had a title nothing changed but if the image didn’t have a title, the plugin created it from the file name. Is there any way to stop this? I have more than 10.000 images on my website and 95% of them don’t have titles. If I update I would need to delete more than 9000 titles and that’s practically impossible.
Any help with this?
Also, this plugin updates image slug when the title is changed. This can really be an issue. e.g. I post an image and people see it and share it over the internet. I see a typo and decide to change the title and now all the links that were previously shared are dead. In 1.9.13 i managed to delete the line of code that updates image slug when the title is changed and everything worked fine. Now, it just won’t work.
There really should be an option (checkbox or something like that) to choose if you want the image slug to be updated when the title is changed or not. Just a suggestion.
