    I think desean is asking about a secondary site password, one that could be used for apps such as the WordPress for iOS/Android apps that do not support 2-form authentication. Google and Yahoo! offer these “App Passwords” for things like iOS Mail (https://help.yahoo.com/kb/yahoo-account/quotapp-passwordquot-sln15241.html). Based on your changelog, it looks like you have no need for this for WordPress for iOS as of v1.0.3, but there are other apps like Blogsy that would require it.

    Oh ok I see what you mean @clear1048. I indeed didn’t take alternative apps such as Blogsy in the current working process. That could indeed be a nice addition to the plugin and a pretty big security enforcement.

    I will have a closer look at this and see if such a system could be added in a next version.
