    When viewed using the Safari browser, non-alpha-numeric characters do not render correctly. All other browsers seem to function properly. For example this:

    “Earth’s crammed with heaven,
    And every common bush afire with God,
    But only he who sees takes off his shoes;
    The rest sit round and pluck blackberries.”

    ― Elizabeth Barrett

    Renders like this in Safari:

    a€?Eartha€?s crammed with heaven,
    And every common bush afire with God,
    But only he who sees takes off his shoes;
    The rest sit round and pluck blackberries.a€

    a€? Elizabeth Barrett

    Please advise.

    I am assuming that you are having this issue when clicking the link to “view in your browser” from an email. Is that correct?

    Usually, this is an encoding problem. Could you check The settings tab under sending account and let me know what your encoding settings are currently set to? Usually, adjusting the encoding will fix the issue. Unfortunately, sometimes it takes a little bit of trial and error before finding the one that works. But if you let me know what you have it set to now, I might be able to recommend a couple to try.

    I don’t know if the ‘view in browser’ link also renders this way – I don’t own a Mac and have no way to test it directly. This is all coming from my client, who owns the site.

    As to the settings, they are set to UTF-8; Quoted-Printable.

    I will have my client test out a few settings if you could make some suggestions.

    Thanks for the quick response.

    Start with the first ISO. I have a Mac. You can send emails to me just change the subject to include the encoding. Doug at sendpress dot com

    Thanks Doug. I made the suggested change and I’ve advised my client to send out an email and include you.

    Could you just tell me who the email will be coming from? I have to look for issues with characters, just a picture looking at the right email.

    I just heard from my client – he said the problem is now resolved.

    Thanks for all the assistance, Doug!
